Meet gaetano
Gaetano Farruggia’s culinary career began early on, inspired by his Sicilian upbringing and the country’s love and respect for food and tradition. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of Sicily, Gaetano slowly worked his way up from entry level kitchen jobs to further develop his own creativity and experience.
Gaetano’s culinary repertoire flourished during his several working experiences at world renowned Italian restaurants around the world, namely in Sydney and Amsterdam, where he developed and refined his culinary techniques.
Today, Chef Gaetano Farruggia can be found spearheading our kitchen at ‘A Mano’, cooking up some of the most authentic Italian dishes that can be found on the Maltese Islands.
